New Davis Sensor
Since about one year I use the Technoline sensors for measuring humidity and temperature. Until today they work pretty well and the measured values are compared to official measurements not completely freaked out. But especially on sunny days the temperature jumps very quickly to unlikely high values. Of course it is obvious that the small radiation shield is very likely to be the root cause. But you could not expect more for this price tag.
Today I installed a (semi-) professional Davis sensor to measure humidity and temperature.
Ok, it is really impressive how much bigger the Davis shield is. How much better will the coming comparisons come up with. The transmitter with its solar cells is aligned south to get maximum sun.
Stay tuned!
